Lignas was formed in 2016 as a part of Lithuanian based subsidiary of KG Constructions Group, specialising in the design, supply, management and assembly of timber facades and frames systems. Due to the growing demand for eco-friendly buildings and started from small projects, today Lignas implements large-scale projects in Scandinavia.

This year, KGC Group’s activities mainly cover the Swedish (72%) and Danish (15%) markets, 9% of the implemented in Lithuania and in Norway, 2% in United Kingdom and 1% in and Finland.
KG Constructions Group is expanding and have opened two new offices – „KGC Facades UK Ltd“ in the United Kingdom and „KGC Switzerland AG“ in the Switzerland.
KG Constructions Group ended the year 2021 with 41 million. eur sales revenue. LIGNAS company turnover was 6 million euro.
KGC Group has acquired a six hectare territory and carry out the development of a new factory and office.
It will be a modern building with the most energy efficient solutions. The administrative building has a solar control system with automatic blinds and energy-saving double facades.
KGC Group’s solar power plant now covers 32% of its total annual electricity consumption. One third of the electricity used by the whole group of companies comes from renewable sources. “Our future goal is to cover up to 80% of the annual electricity consumption with a new solar power plant”, – says CEO.
The plant of KG Constructions Group will double its production capacity from 100,000 to 200,000 sq.m. per year. In addition to separate window and door assembly lines and gluing lines, the new plant will have six element assembly lines.
