KGC and partners decided to establish the Facade Technology Centre

In response to market demand and seeking to increase the effectiveness of the company, the management of KG Constructions Group of companies together with partners decided to establish the Facade Technology Centre (FTC).Its purpose is to combine expertise available in the field of facades and concentrate it by developing and implementing a variety of facade projects.They also discussed opportunities for the FTC cooperation with the country’s educational institutions such as KTU and VGTU, Austria Graz University of Technology, Rosenheim German Institute and other scientific research establishments.

The Technology Centre is headed by, and employs facade specialists with best experience, who have implemented the most famous Lithuanian facade projects of the last decade.The centre staff has also contributed to the implementation of modern facade projects in Scandinavia and the United Kingdom.Knowledge acquired in these countries, and practical work with the best European architects and largest construction companies such as Skanska, NCC, Peab, Henty, Veidekke allowed to gain invaluable experience that will be used in the technology centre’s operations.

One year ago the company has decided to increase investment in the development of new innovative products and, therefore, the KGC product family will be quickly complemented by essentially new facade products having no counterparts in the world. Currently, the company is actively preparing for their testing.Products will allow designers and clients to achieve ever increasing energy efficiency and environmental parameters in modern facades.At the same time, the design of a new plant with robotic production lines, which will double the production capacity, has started.
