This administrative building, was developed in the northern part of Stockholm. It is used by the Church of Sweden. This project is unique, because, comparing to traditional construction with cross-laminated timber, where the assembly of building constructions, insulation, facade finishing and window installing are carried out on a construction site – this project was executed a bit differently. Our specialists completely assembled wall elements at the factory, then delivered them to the construction site and assembled there. This process guaranteed a speedier execution and better quality.
The specialists designed channels for pipes and wires, air-ducts and built-in furniture. 90 % of timber slab area was used as the final interior finish, which provided the building with cosines and distinctiveness.
These days, because of the excellent physical and mechanical qualities of cross-laminated timber (CLT), buildings exceeding more than 70 meters are being designed and built.
